Single fold up and single turnover down for your coverstich machine
The problem:
You’re sewing your new favorite piece and want to hem it on the coverstitch machine. But before that, you need to measure everything exactly, pin it and preferably iron it. That sucks!
>> END THIS MADNESS <<
With the single fold, you can easily thread your fabric edge through the “snail” and start covering right away. If you have positioned the single turnover beforehand so that the needles enclose the edge, you will have a perfect result with time saved!
The best thing is that you can use the single fold both up and down. To do this, simply pull the screw off the bar, turn it around and put it back on. This gives you the freedom to decide whether you want the trendy loop seam on the right or left side of the fabric.
The single fold comes in a set of 15mm and 25mm widths, so you can use it to sew all common hems with a professional result.

Which screws do I need for the single fold?
That depends entirely on your coverstitch model. Unfortunately there is no uniform standard size, so we tried to create a small cheat sheet for you in the overview above, if you don’t already know what size you need. Ideally, you look in the booklet accompanying your machine or ask someone who has an appropriate measuring device and can measure the thread width for you. We already have the two most common sizes as a set in our store.
Dimensions:
M3
head diameter = 11 mm
Thread diameter = 3mm
Thread length = 8mm oder 12mm
M4
head diameter = 14 mm
Thread diameter = 4mm
Thread length = 8mm oder 12mm
Assembly of the screws:
The knurled screws can be fastened directly into the holes with the fingers without any further tools. The grooves on the edge of the screw make it easy to grip and tighten the screw heads.
Why do you need a single fold for your coverstitch anyway?
You are putting so much time, love and effort into finding the right pattern, fabric selection, annoying cutting and of course sewing the fabrics together. Do you really want to waste more time pinning and ironing your hems? No! Simply screw on the coverstitch, thread the fabric and start sewing.
