POLY SHEEN is our embroidery hero among Mettler sewing threads. Robust, decorative and colorfast: The shiny sewing thread is not only wonderful to embroider, but can also be used in a variety of ways thanks to its extra strong and abrasion-resistant properties: Highly stressed textiles such as sports and leisure clothing, jeans, terry cloth, children's clothing, leather and work clothing benefit from these properties. Colorful decorative seams also work very well with the decorative sewing thread.
Our all-rounder sewing thread for embroidery is high quality, Oeko-Tex ® certified and universally applicable. This is made possible by its composition: the trilobal filament cross-section of the sewing thread creates a larger surface. This results in greater light reflection than with conventional embroidery and decorative sewing threads. The result: a spectacular shine that goes hand in hand with exceptional color brilliance. The color's luminosity remains for years - even after bleaching with chlorine.

Excellent shine thanks to trilobal thread cross-section
Due to its trilobal properties, POLY SHEEN - unlike conventional embroidery and decorative sewing threads - has a much larger surface area for reflecting light and is therefore particularly shiny. -
Highest tear resistance
The tear resistance of the trilobal polyester thread is 50% higher than that of rayon/viscose. Excellent embroidery or sewing properties without thread breakage are guaranteed. The sewing thread is suitable for sewing and embroidery machines: it can be processed easily with the most modern, high-performance machines. -
Extremely high abrasion resistance
Gives embroidery or decorative seams an exceptionally long lifespan. The shine is retained. -
A color selection that leaves nothing to be desired
Thanks to a selection of 435 colors, there are no limits to creativity. -
Highest color fastness
Embroideries and decorative seams remain absolutely colourfast even under special stress such as chlorine bleach, wet/dry friction, washing and ironing. -
