➤ MATERIAL
BLADES: The blades of the Schnittenliebe scissors are made of rust-proof Solingen stainless steel, which ensures durability and corrosion resistance. The blades are precisely ground and have a two-surface facet grind for long-lasting sharpness.
HANDLES: The ergonomic handles are made of break-proof plastic and offer comfortable and efficient cutting thanks to their mostly asymmetrical design. The shape of the handle is optimized so that the force is optimally transferred when cutting.
➤ CARE INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE INTENDED USE: To maintain the sharpness of the blades, the scissors should only be used to cut the specified material (fabric, paper, yarn). Cutting other materials can dull the blades.
CLEANING: If the scissors are dirty, simply wipe them with a damp, soft cloth and a mild detergent. Do not use harsh cleaners or abrasive sponges. Then dry thoroughly to avoid corrosion.
DO NOT clean in the dishwasher!
OILING: Every now and then a drop of mineral care oil should be put into the screw slot and between the scissors blades. This keeps the scissors flexible and ensures a long service life. A suitable care oil is available in the Schnittenliebe shop.
STORAGE: The scissors should be stored in a dry place to prevent rust. A case or scissors bag will also protect the blades from dust and dirt.
SHARPENING: If the scissors lose their sharpness, we recommend having them professionally sharpened to maintain the quality of the blades. The Paul scissors manufacturer offers its own sharpening service.
