 One of the most interesting start-ups of the sewing scene

Everything started in the year 2016 with my hobby sewing blog and just one year later we were able to celebrate our business that grew up to one of the most interesting online shops of the sewing scene. The idea for 3D printed sewing accessories came quite spontaneously and unexpectedly. My partner, engineer and enthusiastic technology lover wanted to make me happy by giving me self-printed sewing accessories – a collecting container for my own overlock.

The idea of a perfect fitting collecting container in an attractive design found great approval among the community of Schnittenliebe. Due to that, we decided to start a serial production of the collecting container in steady exchange with the community of Schnittenliebe. The success was absolutely overwhelming!

The last few years, Schnittenliebe grew up from a single company to a modern start-up with several employees and an own production hall. Nowadays, the collecting containers for overlocks, our bestsellers, are available on the international market. Our actual traders are mainly based in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Norway, USA and Australia.

Not just our distribution network, also our variety of products have increased over the last years: 15 collecting container models for 25 different types of overlock machines.

The continuous exchange with our community is still important for us. We would like to create innovative solutions for sewing addicted young women and men. In order to be up-to-date concerning the needs and trends of the sewing scene we use social media, visit community events and frequently take part in sector-related fairs.
